Formerly an experimental berry-pickers accommodation complex (circa 1905-1970), the site is now residential with a focus on the development of sustainable horticulture including hydroponics.
Snowdrops at Tin City Garden
Starting from a small cluster of on-site snowdrops, the aim is to create a 2-acre patch of snowdrops in the context of a woodland walk. The approach entails splitting and moving snowdrops in-the-green each year. See the progress here.
