Celebrating a sign of spring

From a starting position of just a few dense clumps of what seemed to be several thousand snowdrops (Galanthus nivalis), a programme is now well underway to divide and spread the snowdrops throughout the woodland garden.

In 2007, further thinning and tranplanting of snowdrops over several hundred square metres should hopfully result in an impressive carpet of white throughout the woodland garden in 2008. An ongoing programme to create an extensive, well-planted, and attractive spring woodland garden. with
